7 steps to being an indoor market trader

Step 1:

Decide on what market and stall you wish to apply for (see vacancy page)

Step 2:

Complete the required application form (Click on the links below)
For Indoor Markets click here - For Outdoor Markets click here

Step 3:

Return the form to the address indicated by the closing date for applications

Step 4:

When you are accepted you will be informed in writing and will be given a date to commence trading. If you are not successful you will be informed in writing
with a reason.

Step 5:

A deposit equal to four weeks charges is now due.

Step 6 :

Negotiate with the previous trader of the stall about possibility of purchasing the fixtures and fittings on the stall or re-fit using your own fixtures and fittings.

Step 7:

Commence trade

The complete process on average takes about  6 weeks

Please note that ALL Stoke-on-Trent market traders must hold public liability insurance before they are allowed to trade on any market.
